General Training Practice Test 1

Full GT mock. Listening and Speaking match Academic Test 1 (as in the official exam). Reading and Writing are GT: notices, a staff handbook, a libraries passage, a letter and a discuss-both essay.

• Each section opens with its own instructions screen; the timer starts when you continue past it.
• Timer runs per section. Submit to move on; time expiry submits for you.
• Completion answers over the printed word limit are marked wrong.
• Spellcheck is off. Flag questions to return to them.
• Speaking uses your microphone. You can type answers instead if it is unavailable.

Indicative practice scores only. Official IELTS results may differ.
